South Florida Bible College was founded in 1985 to prepare men and women for service to the Lord as ministers. The college provides a nondenominational theological education with eight undergraduate degrees in fields such as Christian business management, religious education, Biblical studies and theology. The campus lies on 3.5 acres and is 1 mile from the beach. Tuition as of March 2010 is $165 per semester hour.

Hobe Sound Bible College is located on the Atlantic Coast of South Florida in the town of Hobe Sound. The college is 25 miles north of West Palm Beach on Highway 1. The campus is 1 mile from the beach. This institution was founded to provide a Bible-based education in the Wesleyan tradition to all its students. The college believes that to find "Truth" you must start with the Bible. Students are expected to live strict Christian lives on campus. There is no TV allowed, and students cannot attend theaters or sports events, listen to rock music or participate in mixed swimming, among other restrictions. Students receive a Bachelor of Arts in Missionary Studies upon completion. Tuition for the 2009-2010 year is approximately $2,340 per semester for 12 to 18 units.

St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary is the Catholic equivalent to the Bible College. This seminary is located in Boynton Beach, Florida which is on the east coast of Florida near West Palm Beach, north of Miami. At the seminary men are trained to serve Jesus Christ in various ministries as priests for the Catholic Church. Saint Vincent's is the most prolific source of priests for the entire state of Florida. This institution bestows a Master of Arts in Theology degree upon completion. Financial aid is often provided by the student's home diocese.
