San Diego State University offers a bachelor's degree in hospitality and tourism management with an emphasis in events. Curriculum at Lasell is highlighted by an emphasis on learning event management as a multidisciplinary field with course work in marketing, business modeling and professional specialization, all focused through the lens of a liberal arts education. Champlain College in Vermont offers a bachelor's degree in event management with a structured four-year curriculum to successfully integrate graduates into a hospitality career. As part of this plan, first-year students work in the Boardroom Cafe, Champlain College's on-campus dining destination, with the end-of-the-year assignment being a multi-course themed banquet for a large number of guests.
