The University of North Carolina at Wilmington (UNCW) is part of the University of North Carolina System, which is composed of 17 different state institutions. CFCC is the fifth-largest community college in North Carolina, and serves both the city of Wilmington and the surrounding counties of New Hanover and Pender.
