Founded in 1907, Toccoa Falls College has a long tradition of integrating academics with a Christian-based faith. It has accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The college currently features nine separate schools, ranging from arts and sciences to business administration and music. Within these nine schools, students can choose from 21 majors and 34 minors. While not working toward their degrees, students have a chance to explore nature, hike and swim at nearby Toccoa Falls.

Forbes Magazine ranks Covenant College 117 in their report of America's Best Colleges. Established in 1955, the college strongly adheres to a Reformed theology in its teachings. Covenant College offers 31 majors ranging from pre-law to psychology in its undergraduate program. The school offers a non-degree English as a second language (ESOL) course to individuals wanting a better understanding of the English language.
