Canadore College is a school in North Bay, Ontario. The classes are smaller than average colleges and offer more than 80 full time post-secondary programs to choose from. The radio broadcasting program is four semesters and prepares students to take on diverse roles in the media industry including radio announcer, music programmer, promotions director and interviewer. Canadore also has a radio station that is on air seven days a week, and students have the responsibility to run and staff it.

Seneca College's radio broadcasting degree is a two-year (four-semester) program. Upon graduation, students receive an Ontario college diploma. The program offers pre-professional training for students who want to have careers as disc jockeys, radio announcers, music programmers, radio broadcasters, radio script writers and so on. Students also learn audio production, and how to present themselves on the airwaves.

Loyalist College offers a two-year degree in radio broadcasting. Like the previously mentioned colleges, Loyalist's program trains students so they can enter the industry in a number of different positions. Students will have undergone live on-air experience during their first year, and will choose from five areas of broadcasting to specialize in during their second year. These include announcing, production and sales. At the end of the program, students go through a four-week internship at a radio station approved by the faculty. The cost of tuition is $3,096 per year (two semesters.)
