  1. University of California, Berkeley

    • The University of California, Berkeley is a preeminent public university located in the San Francisco Bay area.     Stanford University

    • According to USA Today, Stanford University, often referred to as a West Coast Ivy League school, is listed in Princeton Review's Top 100 "Best Value Colleges for 2010." Established in 1891, Stanford remains one of the world's premier educational institutions. The Stanford campus includes seven schools, Humanities/Sciences, Law, Medicine, Earth Sciences, Business, Education and Engineering, on one campus along with more than 20 libraries. The university is located slightly south of San Francisco in Silicon Valley and has the distinction of being the largest contiguous university campus in the United States. According to the Stanford University website, approximately 75 percent of the classes have 20 or fewer students which ensures an intimate learning environment.
