Schools for Registered Nursing in Texas

A number of colleges and universities in Texas prepare students for careers in registered nursing, a field the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts will grow by 22 percent from 2008 through 2018. These schools carry the accreditation of the Texas Board of Nursing, allowing graduations to qualify for the National Council Licensure Examination, the test necessary to gain the appropriate credentials for working independently with patients.
