Minnesota Landscape Architecture Schools

Landscape architects create public outdoor spaces, such as urban parks, recreation areas, city green spaces, commercial projects and private estates or residences. Most states require professional landscape architects to obtain a license after passing state board exams. Requirements also may include advanced education and experience. Smaller projects, such as residences, are often handled by nonlicensed landscape designers who understand important design principles, hardscaping and how to select and place plants in an environment.
