    • The University of Texas in Austin has a nursing program that has earned high marks nationally. "U.S. News and World Report" ranked the school's nursing program at 19th in its 2007 rankings. The National Institutes of Health's rankings from 2005 placed it as 10th in the country, indicating it has a strong focus on research.
