Ultrasound Technologist Schools and Colleges

Ultrasound technology, or sonography, is an allied health field practice. Sonographers and ultrasound technicians are trained to operate ultrasound-imaging equipment at hospitals and in private medical practices. Many community colleges and technical schools offer associate-degree training in the field, and prepare students to take an examination required for certification.
