The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is a public school with more than 13,000 full and part-time students. The University, with a 150-acre campus, offers more than 100 programs of study within six colleges and the Bowen School of Law.

Arkansas Baptist College is a historically black, private college near Little Rock's River Market and the Clinton Presidential Library. Founded in 1884 as the Minister's Institute, the college has an open admissions policy for students who show the ability to handle college-level coursework and meet the basic admissions requirements.
Remington College is a nonprofit organization with a curriculum tailored to non-traditional students. The career-focused areas of study include diploma programs, associate degree and bachelor degree options. The college offers both day and evening courses, with an average class size of 25 students.
