ITT Tech in Little Rock offers various programs that are intended to train students for a career in specific vocation. Most of the programs at ITT Tech offer an associate degree or certificate and are intended to be completed with one or two years. Classes generally have between 20 and 40 students enrolled in them. ITT Tech Little Rock has four schools: the School of Information Technology, School of Electronics Technology, School of Drafting and Design and the School of Criminal Justice. The School of Information Technology offers degrees in fields such as information systems security, while the School of Electronics Technology offers degrees in computer and electronics engineering technology. The School of Drafting and Design offers degrees in construction management, while the school of criminal justice offers degrees in areas such as paralegal studies.
National Park Community College is located in Hot Springs, Arkansas. NPCC offers traditional liberal arts education classes and occupational classes intended to prepare students for a career in a specific vocation. The college also offers vocational certificates in: automotive service, early childhood care, HVAC and refrigeration, hospitality administration, marine technology, residential carpentry and welding technology. Certificate programs take one to two years to complete.
Remington College is another trade school that is located in Little Rock. This college specializes in developing technical skills. The campus is contained in one building that features state of the art facilities. Remington offers diploma programs in: medical assisting, medical assisting with x-ray tech, pharmacy technician and medical billing and coding. An associate degree in criminal justice is also available.
Southeast Arkansas College is located in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.SAC combines the aspects of a traditional community college and a trade schools by offering courses that are intended to help students transfer to a traditional college or train for a specific vocation. The trade school of Southeast Arkansas College offers courses that grant both certificates and degrees. The business department of the trade school offers programs that focus on accounting and office administration while the computer technologies department offers courses that train one for a career in PC maintenance and repair. The engineering and industrial school trains students for careers in air conditioning and refrigeration, computer aided design, industrial skills, manufacturing and welding technology.
