Computer Science Engineering Colleges

Whether you enjoy tinkering around with your home computer, programming new applications, building peripherals and components or just like maintaining your computer, pursuing a degree in the computer science and engineering field may be a good fit. Computer science departments at colleges across the country have a range of degree options, including bachelor's degree, master's degree and doctoral programs in computer science and engineering.
  1. The Ohio State University

    • The Ohio State University's Department of Computer Science and Engineering offers a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering degree, a four-year degree which covers topics in software systems, information and computation assurance, hardware-software systems, artificial intelligence, graphics and animation and business information systems. Students also complete general core classes such as English, math and humanities. While enrolled, students have the opportunity to join clubs such as the Association for Computing Machinery, Institute for Electrical and Electronic Engineers and Upsilon Pi Epsilon, the national computing science honor society.

Applicants must have a high school diploma and already be enrolled in the college's general engineering department. After completing courses in computer science engineering, physics and math, students may then apply to the science and engineering major.
