Forensic Nursing Degree Programs

Forensic nursing is an advanced level nursing career bridging the gap between health care and the legal system. Forensic nurses work with law enforcement agencies to help determine the severity of violent crimes. Job duties include collecting medical evidence from survivors and perpetrators of violent crimes as well as testifying in court. Along with a standard nursing education, forensic nurses must undergo specialized training through a degree program. Take note, forensic nursing degree programs require a bachelor's degree and a current nursing license.
