Located in central Illinois, the College of Fine Arts at Illinois State offers numerous performing arts degree programs through its schools of music and theatre. Undergraduate and graduate degrees offered in the school of music include music performance, composition, education and even music therapy (the school claims to have the only Masters in Music Therapy program in the state). The school of theatre includes bachelor degrees in dance, theatre, theatre production and design, as well as two different masters degrees in theatre. The music conservatory offers bachelor's degrees in music performance, composition, jazz and contemporary studies and more; master's degrees are offered in composition, performance and orchestral studies. The theatre conservatory offers bachelor's and master's degrees in acting, and a bachelors in musical theatre. Performances are scheduled regularly at the Auditorium Theatre.
