Deaf Education Colleges

Deaf education colleges prepare deaf students for a variety of careers. While deaf students can attend college alongside hearing students and many colleges provide supportive services that include note takers and interpreters, some students prefer to attend a school where they can easily communicate in sign language and where instruction is tailored to meet their needs. Students at deaf colleges choose from a wide variety of majors, including deaf education and deaf studies and others related to the hearing impaired.
