Adult Education Colleges

Adults across the country often must wait to attend college or start their higher education but, for some reason or another, cannot finish. Some colleges and universities strive to help these adults to continue their education later in life in order to learn more about a specific program or to complete a degree in something already started. Adult students can find continuing education courses at state universities, private colleges and community colleges.
  1. University of Minnesota

    • The University of Minnesota's College of Continuing Education provides adult students with multiple paths of action to completing a degree. Returning students are allowed to choose a program designed by themselves, earning a Master of Liberal Studies, or pursuing a bachelor's degree in construction management, manufacturing technology, or IT infrastructure. Adults can take courses for academic credit without actually being admitted as a student as long as the course requirements are met and the class is not full. University of Minnesota's website provides information about financial aid and how adult students may earn scholarships for classes.
