Women can choose from basketball, cheerleading, cross country, field hockey, indoor track, lacrosse, outdoor track, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball, and men have the option of baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, ice hockey, indoor track, soccer and outdoor track. For students who are not interested in athletic teams, music programs, theater productions, clubs and organizations are available.

    • For students seeking a two-year associate degree, Quinsigamond offers over 70 associate degree programs in the fields of liberal arts, human services, business, technology and more. The school is very popular in the area, and the enrollment figures are at 13,000 full- and part-time students. Students can visit the Athletic Center to join in on one of the class offerings, including hoop dance, boot camp, circuit training, fit trek, indoor cycling, martial arts, yoga, Pilates and zumba. Prospective students can arrange a tour of the campus to see classrooms, administration buildings, the Harrington Learning Center and the Alden Library.

    University of Massachusetts Medical School

    • Students interested in any field of medicine can pursue a undergraduate or graduate degree at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
