Phlebotomy Certification Schools

Phlebotomy technicians are clinical laboratory professionals who collect patient blood samples for analysis. Two-year community colleges and technical schools typically offer certification programs, and curricula include coursework that can take less than a semester to complete. Upon successful completion of certificate requirements at an accredited institution, phlebotomy graduates can sit for the National Phlebotomy Registry Exam. While certification is not required, it does increase chances for career advancement and higher wages.
