The Loewenberg School of Nursing at the University of Memphis offers a number of educational programs for nurses, including a bachelor’s degree in the science of nursing and an RN to BSN option for registered nurses with associate’s degrees. The school also offers a master’s degree in the science of nursing with specialties in nursing administration, nursing education, family nurse practitioner and nursing informatics.

The Southwest Tennessee Community College offers an associate of applied science degree in nursing. Students who complete the program can sit for the NCLEX-RN exam to become registered nurses. Southwest Tennessee Community College offers an LPN mobility track for licensed professional nurses who want to become registered nurses.

The Baptist College of Health Sciences offers a bachelor’s degree in the science of nursing. Students can attend a traditional weekday program or they can choose to enroll in an evening and weekend program that accommodates students who must work while they attend college.
