Colleges for Respiratory Therapists near Cincinnati, Ohio

Respiratory therapists treat a variety of illnesses and lung disorders in all people from infants to the elderly. Their goal is to help patients breathe better. College can get you started in a career as a respiratory therapist, but it is just the beginning. After completing a two- or four-year respiratory therapy or respiratory care program, aspiring therapists must pass the national exam to become a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), and then two more tests, one written exam and one clinical simulation, to become a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
