RHIA Programs in Colorado

Registered Health Information Administrators (RHIAs) collect, analyze and interpret patient data. They use this data in decisionmaking and day-to-day operations at the clinical, financial and administrative level. RHIAs have various titles, such as Health Care Consumer Advocate, Patient Information Coordinator or Health Information Resource Manager. RHIAs must earn at least a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in health information management (HIM) and pass the national RHIA Certification Exam.
