Colleges Offering Physician Assistant Programs

The American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) notes on its website that there are more than 140 accredited physician assistant programs in the US, most of which take about two years to complete. The AAPA notes that prior health care experience is required by most PA programs, making them an attractive option for nurses and paramedics who have extensive hands-on experience with patients.
