Automotive Restoration Schools

Automotive restoration consists of all of the necessary work required to return the vehicle to its original condition. Restorers may specialize in type of vehicle, make of vehicle or manufacturer. Some restorers work to return the entire vehicle to its original condition, while other restorers limit their work to a subspecialty such as instrumentation, painting, body work, repair, electrical wiring, upholstery, engine and drive train restoration. Formal training available for persons entering the field includes certificate, diploma, associate and bachelor’s degree programs.
