    • Plymouth College of Art and Design, established in 1865, offers a variety of study options for students pursuing education in art. Choices include the Extended Foundation Degree for students wishing to matriculate early, as well as a one-year bachelor's degree option for those holding a foundation degree or Higher National Diploma (HND), and a general three-year bachelor's degree option. Graduate students may pursue the Masters in Entrepreneurship for Creative Practice. There are also additional foundation programs in a number of fields, including art and design, graphic design, and photography. Plymouth College also offers a variety of work settings for the creation of a range of artwork, including a Fine Art Studio, Printmaking, Fashion and Textiles, Ceramics, Metals, Glass, and Digital Imaging locations, respectively, amongst others.     South Devon College

    • South Devon College offers secondary-level coursework for students 14 to 18, as well as college level courses in a variety of fields. College-level art students may pursue courses in Visual Studies, and/or Three-Dimensional Design. Visual Studies course participants learn the interdisciplinary connection between fine art, photography, digital offerings, and printmaking techniques. Three-Dimensional Design students pursue spatial issues, as well as the incorporation of various mediums, including wood, plastic, metal, textile, and ceramics.     Exeter College

    • Exeter College, founded in 1970, offers a Diploma in Foundation Studies in Art and Design. The program consists of one year of study, covering the mediums of video, drawing, illustration, graphic design, painting, printmaking, as well as other art focuses. The college houses a number of workshops and studios, allowing for a student to pursue various creative and original work options. Students are also given the occasion to participate in field trips to various art locales, as well as display creations in the annual summer art exhibit.     Petroc (North and East Devon Colleges)

    • Petroc formed in 2008, following the merger of North and East Devon Colleges. The college offers a Foundation Degree in Ceramics. Students may pursue either full- or part-time course modules, consisting of two and four years of study, correspondingly. Potential applicants must be no younger than 18 years of age, and must posses an assortment of artwork, in case it is requested. The college also offers The Arts on Prescription, a course for students 16 years of age and above, in need of mental health assistance. Students will generally seek recommendation for the program, which consists of 12 weeks of coursework. The program meets in the spring and/or summer.
