Bellevue College, founded in 1966, offers a number of options for students pursuing undergraduate education. Previously known as Bellevue Community College, the school opted to change its title in 2009, as it currently offers bachelor degree options. Students may participate in the Bachelor of Applied Arts Degree in interior design, or the Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in radiation and imaging sciences. There are also degree options offered jointly with Eastern Washington University, as well as distance learning programs offered through the University of Washington and Washington State University. Students in need of adult literacy and/or English as a second language instruction can pursue study options at Bellevue. High school students who seek college credit may also matriculate at Bellevue College.

City University of Seattle, established in 1973 as City College, offers a number of programs in undergraduate and graduate-level studies at various of locations. Students may participate in traditional campus programs, distance learning, or pursue study opportunities in Canada, Greece, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Australia, China, Mexico, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia, as well as in Washington and Hawaii. Bellevue students, in particular, may pursue programs at the Albright School of Education, Division of Arts and Sciences, Management Institute, and School of Management.

DeVry University, founded in 1931, offers courses nationwide, including at Seattle's Federal Way campus. Students may purse coursework at the Bellevue campus, post-enrollment at the Federal Way location. Degrees are offered in accounting, business administration, finance, criminal justice, and human resource management, amongst others, within the College of Business & Management. Students may also study at the undergraduate and graduate degree levels, within the Colleges of Engineering & Information Sciences, and Media Arts & Technology, respectively. There are also distance learning options.

Seattle Pacific University, established in 1891, offers a Christian-based learning environment. The university is located on 43 acres in northern Seattle, approximately 20 minutes from Bellevue. SPU offers undergraduate study options in the fields of music, philosophy, English, education, math, art, and various sciences, amid others. Graduate student options include a master's of fine arts degree, as well as degrees in nursing, business administration, psychology, theology, and various programs in education. Doctoral options exist in education, psychology, and theology.
