State Colleges in New England

New England is rich with public four-year colleges, many with traditions that date to the 19th century. These colleges often have smaller student populations than public universities, and they place greater emphasis on undergraduate education. Students at New England's state colleges can experience the benefits of a liberal arts education at a small, residential campus as well as the lower cost of a state-funded education.
