The College of Southern Idaho (CSI) is located in Twin Falls. It is a two-year community college that offers associate degrees in many fields, with an enrollment of more than 3,300 students during the 2009-10 school year. CSI has off-campus centers in Burley, Gooding, Jerome and Hailey.

The College of Western Idaho (CWI) is a two-year community college that offers associate degrees. It is located in Nampa, outside of Boise. CWI had an enrollment of 3,342 for the 2010 spring semester. It is one of the newest colleges in the nation, opening its doors to students in January 2008.

lLcated in Coeur d'Alene, North Idaho College (NIC) is a two-year community college that offers an assortment of associate degrees. It enrolls approximately 5,700 full-time students. North Idaho also offers GED programs for students 16 years and older who do not have a high school diploma.

Lewis-Clark State College (LCSC) is a four-year school that offers associate's and bachelor's degrees. It is located in Lewiston and had an enrollment of just less than 4,000 during the 2009-10 school year. LCSC claims to be the most affordable college in the entire state and has branches in Coeur d'Alene, Orofino, Grangeville, Kooskia and Lapwai.

Eastern Idaho Technical College is a vocational school in Idaho Falls. It offers a variety of certificates and associate degrees in applied science and had an enrollment of 1,410 during the 2009-10 school year. Along with general studies courses, Eastern Idaho Tech offers courses in automotive technology and welding technology.
