An increasing number of schools accept military service as transfer credits, according to Inside Higher Ed. Online schools are especially accommodating to military service credits. Members of the military often choose schools based on the number of credits schools accept. Progressive credit policies are more common now because schools work with military branches to recruit new students with relevant skills.
