School Psychology Certification Programs

School counselors not only provide emotional support and counseling to students, but also help them in choosing colleges and potential career paths. Because of the tremendous influence these professionals have on children at both the elementary and secondary levels, school counselors must be certified and licensed in their state of residence. When looking for a school counseling certification program, it is recommended that you seek a program recognized by the National Association of School Psychologists.
