How to Reference a Table in APA Format

Journal Article

  Type the word "Note" followed by a period, and then type in a description of the table followed by a period.

  Type "Reprinted from" and the name of the journal article. Enclose the name of the journal article in quotes, with a comma before the last quote.

  Type "by" and the name of the author, followed by a comma, and then type the date of the article's publication, followed by a comma, and the name of the journal in italics , followed by a comma.

  Type the number of the volume in italics, followed by a comma, and then type "p. page." with "page" signifying the table's page numbers in the journal article.
