Situated on the banks of Tampa Bay, Clearwater Christian College was established in 1966 based on a desire to teach Biblical fundamentals without devolving into evangelism. The college currently offers 26 majors including Church Ministries and Pastoral Studies, as well as in secular subjects such as Physical Education and Biology. All students graduate with a minor in Bible Studies. Clearwater also offers a graduate study course in Educational Leadership.
The college offers study tours across Europe, allowing students to gain college credits while abroad. 93% of students to Clearwater receive some form of financial aid, and scholarships are available to applicants demonstrating excellence in the field of Bible Studies or musicianship. The campus is 100% free wireless Internet-enabled.
Founded in 1968, Palm Beach Atlantic University offers associate's, bachelor's and master's degrees in 56 subjects including International Business, Theological Studies and Christian Social Ministry, as well as a doctorate in Pharmacy. Dedicated to spreading the values of American free enterprise, the university takes in students from across the globe and as of 2011 had representatives from over 40 nations studying there. Palm Beach University's main campus is located on West Palm Beach, overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway. The university also offers web-based courses for those studying online.
All students at Palm Beach Atlantic are required to undertake at least 45 hours of community service a year in order to pass their course.
Founded in 1935 as a Bible Institute for the training of missionaries, Southeastern University is a liberal arts university in the city of Lakeland. Southeastern offers majors in a wide variety of fields from Missional Ministries and Practical Theology to Marketing and Social Work. There is also a department of Jerusalem Studies offering students the opportunity to study Biblical history in Israel. Evening and online classes are available in some courses.
As of 2010, 86% of students to Southeastern receive some form of financial aid. The average yearly aid package for 2010 was $13,031. The campus is also host to the annual 180 Film Festival, showcasing the work of the university's Film Studies students. An on-campus chapel holds services every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Service attendance is compulsory.
Located to the south of Lake Wales, Warner University is a Church of God-affiliated liberal arts university formerly known as Warner Southern College. Warner currently offers 27 majors including Transformational Christian Ministry, Accounting and Sports Management. Students who were previously homeschooled are welcomed by Warner.
All students are expected to attend chapel regularly and live on campus. Alcohol, tobacco, sexual impropriety, networked video games and gambling are all banned on the Warner University campus. Financial aid is currently received by 98% of students at Warner University. Wireless Internet access is available across campus.
