Evangel University, founded in 1955, is an accredited university of arts, sciences and professions that is affiliated with the Assemblies of God denomination. The theme at Evangel is "Christ is Lord." More than 2,000 undergraduate students learn in a manner that allows them to integrate their faith in every aspect of their lives, especially their education. Evangel has more than 100 undergraduate programs, eight graduate programs, seven men's sports and eight women's sports that are part of NAIA Division I, more than 40 clubs and organizations and many more activities for students. Classes are offered both on-campus and online.

BBC offers 12 different bachelor's degrees, three associate's degrees, two certificate degrees and five master's degrees. Global University is a nonprofit, fully accredited Christian university that is in the Pentecostal tradition and based out of Springfield, Missouri. Global University is an online and distance education program that has a network in the United States and a total of 150 countries. Global University is comprised of four schools: Berean School of the Bible, School for Evangelism and Discipleship, Undergraduate School of Bible and Theology and Graduate School of Theology. The Christian college specializes in theology-type degrees.
Central Bible College, an accredited college located in Springfield, was established in 1922 in response to the needs of the General Council of the Assemblies of God for training ministers and missionaries. CBC's institutional priority is "to train ministers and missionaries for the 21st century," and the college is a resource for the global Pentecostal movement. Almost 30 undergraduate degrees are available on-campus or online; the programs are divided into biblical education, church ministries, missions and evangelism, fine arts and communication and arts and sciences.
