Indiana Cosmetology Schools

Cosmetologists provide a multitude of services related to beauty including hair care, make up application, nail design, and even massage and facials. There are numerous schools in the state of Indiana that provide a program in cosmetology. When selecting a school, find one that is accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences which is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

    • Regency Beauty Insitute has several locations in Indiana -- Merrillville, South Bend, Castleton, Avon, Greenwood and Evansville. Tuition includes your books and supplies, and they offer payment plans and loans to help with tuition. The academy claims to train students to work for the top salons within the state where incomes are the highest, and have placed over 6,000 students in Redken salons. The Salon Professional Academy is accredited by NACCAS and recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

    Roger's Hair Academy

    • Roger's Hair Academy has two locations in Evansville. The cosmetology program at the academy provides a comprehensive education in hair structure, care and design, or nail care and makeup artistry. Guest instructors from some of the leading salons, including Paul Mitchell, Redken and Wella International, often visit the school to educate students on hair styling and care. Tuition does not cover books and supplies at Roger's. Financial aid is available to students who qualify. Roger's Hair Academy is accredited by the NACCAS and recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
