Sonography Schools in Indiana

Sonography refers to a diagnostic medical procedure that uses high frequency sound waves to produce images of organs, tissue and blood flow within the body. These ultrasounds serve as an effective detection device for heart, vascular and reproductive problems. The Indiana Society of Radiologic Technologists suggests four programs for individuals seeking an education in sonography through an Indiana school. The organization cautions that these programs are not accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Diagnostic Medical Sonography (JRCDMS), but they will still prepare students for the profession.
