Spartan College is dedicated to all things avionics and offers degrees in avionics maintenance technology, aviation maintenance technology, nondestructive testing, applied science avionics maintenance technology, aviation maintenance technology, quality control, and professional piloting. It has over 240,000 square feet of aviation training facilities across three campuses and two airports. Since its creation in 1928, more than 90,000 students have graduated here. Spartan College also offers students housing assistant, scholarships and assistance with job placement for graduates.
ITT Technical Institute has 125 campuses across 38 states, including one in Tulsa. This campus offers various bachelor and associate degrees in the fields of information technology, electronics technology, drafting and design, criminal justice, and a newly-created nursing program in health sciences. The institute combines academic content with hands-on learning through traditional, accelerated and distance education.
Founded in 1995, the college has programs in business administration, early childhood education, dental assisting, fitness and health training, health service administration, massage therapy, medical assistance, medical billing and coding, occupational science, paralegal studies, pharmacy technician, surgical technology, and veterinary assistance. It also offers online Associates of Occupational Science degrees. Community Care College is accredited by the Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) and has affiliations, approvals and licenses from various other professional and educational organizations.
Founded in 1949 by two welders, this welding school has two campuses-one in Tulsa and another in Jacksonville, Fla. The school offers three programs: Master Welder, Associate of Occupational Studies in Welding Technology, and structural welder. The first program requires seven months of study to complete, the second 14, and the third three-and-a-half. The school focuses on hands-on training, and students spend four days a week welding and one day in the classroom.
