Located in Pennsylvania, Baptist Bible College and Seminary is geared toward preparing students for a career in ministry. It offers several different degree programs, including a one-year Bible certificate and Doctor of Ministry and Philosophy degrees. The one-year Bible certificate is for those who are interested in biblical studies but haven't decided yet if they want a career in ministry. Although the college is co-ed, the seminary helps only men prepare for ordination. There are 33 undergraduate programs and three graduate programs, including a Master of Science in counseling ministries. Athletic programs include baseball, basketball, volleyball, soccer and tennis. Calvary Chapel Bible College is located in Murietta, California, and was started as a short, intensive Bible study program in 1975. There are three undergraduate programs: an Associate in theology, Bachelor of biblical studies and a Certificate of Completion program. The courses include biblical counseling, church history, Christian living, Christian ministry, language study and New Testament studies. Online courses are also available. Although the school does its best to be affordable, it does not participate in government-supported financial aid programs or student loans.
Crossroads Bible College is located in Indiana and prepares students for Christian leadership. There are 28 undergraduate programs such as pastoral leadership, biblical counseling, youth ministry and Christian education. An accelerated studies program is offered for those who work full time but want to continue their Christian studies and earn a degree. Bachelor of Science, Arts and Ministry degrees are offered, and financial aid is available.
Holmes Bible College was founded in 1898 and is located in Greenville, South Carolina. Students can earn a Bachelor of Science in Christian ministry or a Bachelor of Arts in Bible and theology. Some of the courses include studies in the Old and New Testament studies, as well as Christian theology. An Associate of Arts degree is also offered. Courses are also available online. Scholarships are offered at Holmes College, as well as a work-study program that allows students to receive a discount on tuition by working ten hours a week.
