Bible Schools in the US

If you are looking to enter the ministry, become a pastor or missionary, it is beneficial to enroll in a Bible college. There you not only are able to take standard history and math classes, but classes about the history of the Bible, public speaking and evangelical seminars to help prepare you for your life.
  1. Alaska Bible College

    • If you are looking for a change in scenery, check out the Alaska Bible College. The college is located in Glennallen, Alaska, and offers anywhere from a one-year Bible certificate to a four year bachelor's degree in biblical studies which covers pastoral studies, educational ministries and missions.

    Johnson Bible College

    • Located in Knoxville Tennessee, the Johnson Bible College offers 14 different majors (two associate's, 12 bachelor's), ranging from preaching to church music. If you want to do anything within the ministry field, the Johnson Bible College most likely offers a degree in it.

    Nazarene Bible College

    • For nearly 50 years, the Colorado Springs, Colorado, college has educated individuals looking to serve in the ministry. The college offers two different degree types, the first being an associate of arts in lay ministries (A.A.L.M.) or a bachelor of arts in ministry (B.A.Min). Within the two different degree types there are five actual fields of study, including Bible and theology, pastoral ministries or Christian counseling.

    Wheaton College

    • Wheaton College, located in Wheaton, Illinois, offers over 40 different majors for study, and a majority of the faculty (over 90 percent) holds at least a doctorate, so you know you will receive expert education from some of the brightest minds in the field. The class sizes, like most of the other colleges, is relatively small when compared to a standard college, with around 12 students to one professor.
