How to Cite an Interview in a Text

Interviews can serve as references for essays, research papers and other writing formats. There are at least two format styles used to document information gained from other sources: the American Psychological Manual (APA) and the Modern Language Association (MLA). Either format provides succinct instructions for documenting in-text citation of information obtained from a personal or published interview.
