Inexpensive Accredited Colleges in Virginia

There are many different kinds of colleges and universities in Virginia, some more costly than others. Just because a school is inexpensive, doesn't mean it is not accredited or doesn't offer a high-quality education. Some of the most inexpensive schools in the state are community colleges. This list is based on the least costly annual in-state tuition as of spring 2010, according to a ranking on the College Toolkit website.
  1. Danville Community College

    • Danville Community College is located in Danville, Virginia. It is a two-year higher education institution accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. DCC charges its in-state students $101 per credit hour for both part-time and full-time students. The tuition rate includes an information technology fee and student activity fee.
