The United Methodist Scholarship Program provides scholarship and financial assistance to active members of The United Methodist Church who have a demonstrated involvement with the church for a minimum of 1 year. Scholarship applications are accepted annually from January to May at the General Board of Higher Education & Ministry website or by email at [email protected]. Contact the United Church of Christ. To begin, visit their website and click on "UCC Scholarships for Seminarians." Only those applicants who have a demonstrated involvement and active membership in a UCC congregation for at least 1 year prior to his application; enrollment in an ATS accredited seminary program; an active involvement with an association or conference; a minimum "B" average; commitment to serve in the UCC or a partner church at the end of study; and a high-level leadership ability in his church and community are eligible to apply. Contact the Christian Scholarship Organization. The Christian Scholarship Organization provides faith-based funding in the area of Atheism/Agnosticism, Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism and Pagan/Wiccan. Students are encouraged to visit the Christian Scholarship website to browse scholarships and use resources that range from essay writing guidelines to college money saving tips and finance management. The Brown Scholarships award students with up to $10,000 annually in monies that are applied toward tuition and other costs.
Contact your university or college financial aid officer and request a financial assistance application or booklet. Within these documents, locate scholarships that match your enrollment status, performance level (GPA), and level and year of study.
