College Scholarships for High GPA Students

Maintaining a high grade-point average throughout high school is tough, but the hard work can pay off when you are applying for college and university scholarships. The likelihood of being awarded money greatly improves, especially when your high GPA is paired with leadership, community service and recommendations.
  1. Outstanding Students of America Scholarship

    • High school seniors who have a minimum 3.0 GPA, are in the top percentile of their class and are involved in community service are eligible to apply. Several $1,000 scholarships are offered. If you've received an Outstanding Students of America Scholarship, you are still eligible to re-apply for the scholarship.

    Coca-Cola Scholars Program

    • The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation awards scholarships to 250 high school seniors every year. Students must have 3.0 GPAs or higher, be U.S. citizens and demonstrate other qualities such as leadership and community service. Fifty of the scholarships are worth $20,000, and 200 are worth $10,000. Also, 50 $2,000 scholarships and 350 $1,000 scholarships are awarded to deserving community college students.

    Junior Achievement Nelnet Scholarship

    • Junior Achievement is a worldwide organization that helps students prepare for higher education, readies them for the workforce and also provides financial aid through scholarships. To qualify for the Junior Achievement Nelnet Scholarship, a student must have a 3.0 GPA or higher, write a 500-word essay, demonstrate financial need and leadership and enroll in an accredited university or college. The scholarships are $1,000 each.
