Scottish American Scholarships

Many Americans can claim Scottish descent, including some of the Founding Fathers and many of the country's early settlers and pioneers. Scottish Americans have overcome poverty and other obstacles to play an important role in the nation's history. The Scots are intensely proud of their heritage and preserve it in ways like awarding scholarships for students who wish to study here or in Scotland. As an American student of Scottish descent, there are several scholarships you maybe eligible for.
  1. Saint Andrew's Society Scholarships

    • The Saint Andrew's Society has chapters all over the country, including New York, Tennessee, Illinois, Connecticut, Colorado, and Washington, DC. Each organization awards scholarships to Scottish-American students who wish to study in Scotland.
