100 Hispanic Women is an organization that aims to inspire Latina women to become leaders. Through their Young Latina's Leadership Institute, founded in 2002, the organization attempts to enhance the college experience of motivated, ambitious and hardworking Hispanic students enrolled full-time at a four-year college with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Participants must commit to three years in the program, attend three educational workshops per year and continue to be active leaders among their peers. Five scholars are selected annually for three or four year scholarships of $4,000.

The Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute seeks to educate Americans about the diversity of thought, interests, and values among Americans of Hispanic or Portuguese heritage and to encourage and advance the progress and rights of Americans of Hispanic and Portuguese descent.
Through its Future Leaders Conference in Washington D.C., the organization contributes to the development of future leaders in a hands-on practical setting where participants are encouraged to seek out and accept leadership responsibilities, promote awareness of leadership opportunities and challenges within Hispanic communities and network with fellow participants. Participants must be local interns in Washington D.C. at the time of the conference and register on-line with the institute.
The Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute also offers short-term educational leadership programs in Madrid and at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, as well as a semester-long Global Leaders Congressional Internship Program in Washington D.C. Participants receive compensation for airfare, educational expenses and room and board. All applicants must be U.S. citizens or legal residents with a strong interest in the U.S. Hispanic community.
