Barber School Scholarships

Many graduating high school seniors enroll in barber and cosmetology school to become hairdressers. Because barber school can sometimes be more than a prospective student straight out of high school can easily afford, there are a number of scholarships available for barber school students. These scholarships are available from specific barber schools as well as from nationwide organizations.
  1. Hair Experts Barber School Scholarship Program

In addition to filling out an application, candidates for this scholarship are required to attend an interview. According to the 2010 application packet, candidate evaluations will be based on high school grades, attendance record, extracurricular activities, as well as whether or not they have "an outgoing personality and the ability to get along with others."
