Canadian Mechanical Engineering Technology Scholarships

Although a degree in mechanical engineering can be a pathway to a promising career, many students find it difficult to pay for schooling. Scholarships are a crucial source of support for college students. A number of scholarships are available to Canadian students pursuing a program of study in mechanical engineering technology, from professional associations of engineers and private Canadian companies.
  1. ASTTBC Bursaries

    • The Applied Science Technologists & Technicians of British Columbia (ASTTBC) make scholarship money available to mechanical engineering technology students in British Columbia through the annual ASTTBC Bursaries. The ASTTBC High School Student Bursary is awarded each year in the amount of $1,000 to a graduating high school senior who plans to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering technology or a related technological discipline, and who is a child or grandchild of an ASTTBC member. The ASTTBC Wade Wicks Memorial Bursary is awarded annually in the amount of $1,000 to a technology student attending any accredited university in British Columbia. The annual application deadline for ASTTBC Scholarships is June 30. Interested students should visit the ASTTBC website for a full list of available scholarships.
