Grants for Minority Women & Single Parents

There are several grants available to single parents and women of minority populations in the US. Applicants can find a wide variety of grant opportunities from schools, corporations, charities, public and private institutions and non-profit organizations. There are three basic educational grant types: merit-based awards for the academically proficient, need-based scholarships for those that demonstrate financial hardship and grants for particular areas of study or life situation/ affiliation. With so many opportunities, it's really just a matter of finding the best grant for you and doing everything you can to get it.
