The SWE administers several scholarships for incoming freshman engineering students. The Exelon Corporation Scholarship is available in the amount of $1,000 to freshmen in all engineering disciplines. The Bertha Lamme Memorial Scholarship is awarded to an incoming student who is a citizen of the United States and who is majoring in electrical engineering. The General Electric Foundation Scholarship is available to freshmen engineering students who are U.S. citizens in the amount of $1,500, and is renewable for up to three years. The The SWE Phoenix Section Scholarship is available in the amount of $1,000 to female freshmen engineering students who are Arizona residents. Scholarship is available in the amount of $2,400 to female engineering students who are at least a sophomore and who have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The Lillian Moller Gilbreth Memorial Scholarship is available in the amount of $10,000 to a junior or senior.
