Rotary College Scholarships

Rotary International is a service organization with 33,000 clubs and around 1.2 million members worldwide. Its foundation provides a number of scholarships on both international and domestic levels for individuals to study abroad, pursue a college education, attend vocational school or obtain a Master's degree or professional development certificate. Not all clubs offer scholarships, so interested parties must check with their local chapters about availability.
  1. Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholarship

    • The Ambassadorial Scholarship is a $26,000 grant to defray tuition and other fees, round-trip transportation, educational supplies, accommodations and other living expenses for one academic year of study abroad. The scholarship is for qualified students with at least two years of college completed, a demonstrated academic excellence and leadership, exhibited community service and a strong interest in history, politics and culture. Recipients must give regular presentations to Rotary members and actively participate in the organization's service projects abroad. Students must submit applications to their local Rotary clubs participating in the program and deadlines vary each year. Applicants must undergo language proficiency exams where necessary and are responsible for applying to the foreign academic institution, obtaining visas and organizing travel arrangements.
