The law school awards these scholarships every year to domestic and international students who excel in their academic achievement and show promise in the field. Scholarship recipients must maintain a minimum grade point average and not have any disciplinary problems at the school.
The scholarship is named after a third-year law student who drowned while kayaking and is funded by the family. Lewis & Clark offers it to an outstanding upper-division law student who is studying environmental law.
New students committed to the study of environmental issues can apply for this scholarship provided by the Quinault Indian Allottees Association.
The law school also offers other scholarships to students studying labor law, business law and animal law. Additional scholarships base their awards on financial need, students raising children and students with physical disabilities.
